5.37

It's 5.37am on the 28th July 2015 and a robbery has taken place! The culprit is nature as it whisks away all hope of long hot summer days filled with laughter as children play on the harbour hill.  It's 5.40 am and I have been awake since 4 am listening to the beads of rain pelting the velux in the hall.  Since Sunday the grey clouds filled with perpetual rain as they roll around the sky with gusts of wind blasting us into a seasonal confusion.

It's July, our best known month for lazy hazy summer days but it's October in appearance. Have we been thrust into an early autumn bringing our sense of fun to an end.  A lone Seagull has just shrieked past my window reminding me for a split second that it's still summer.

It's 5.55am and I have to get up for work at 7am. The rain has eased and my eyes need sleep even to crash for another hour that would be a blessing.  One thought will always turn my mood around,  a necessary healthy habit to create,  nature may be in control of the weather but I am in control of my mood.
